Visibility inside is severely restricted, and any light source above 75W proves ineffective against the dark. At approximately 200 metres down, distress vocalizations resembling a child's cries have been recorded, though every attempt to locate their source has failed. Explorations confirmed the presence of an anomalous entity: SCP-087-1, a face with no mouth, no nostrils, and no eyes. Following Exploration IV, external auditory anomalies were documented, and access to SCP-087 was formally prohibited.

The game translates that dossier into a first-person descent through a procedurally generated stairwell. Reality shifts without warning, radio transmissions cut through the silence, hallucinations distort perception, and SCP-087-1 can appear at any moment. In one scene, that featureless white face materializes in the darkness at the top of a flight of stairs. Several scenes show a metal handrail running alongside the stairs against a textured wall. You'll find no weapons and no escape route — only infinite floors and the question of how long you are able to last.
