About Granny Original: A Horror Puzzle Escape Game

Granny Original drops you inside a locked house with one goal — get out — while a relentless, sharp-eared grandmother hunts you through every room. Beyond the horror, the game is a genuine puzzle experience: figuring out which key opens which lock, what to do with the watermelon, how the book fits into your escape plan, and much more. The main door is secured with multiple locks, and working out how to clear each one is the core challenge.

Several escape routes exist, including using a car in the garage. A weapon can be used against Granny, though it only stops her temporarily. Traps and pets add further danger throughout the house. Several scenes show weathered concrete-style walls where patches of missing plaster reveal grey stone underneath. In one scene, a figure with long black hair wearing a white sleeveless garment is visible from behind. A black and white striped vase sits on a round wooden pedestal table in another scene.

Five different difficulty levels are available. Practice mode lets you explore the house without Granny present, giving you a chance to experiment freely — though the house is not completely free from danger even then.

How to Play Granny Original: Escape the House in 5 Attempts

The objective is to escape the house. Only five attempts are available. Granny hears everything — every dropped object, every footstep — and she will run toward any sound she detects. Staying quiet is the central discipline of every run.

• Make no sounds — Granny hears everything

• Hide under beds, in closets, and in chests
• Play with headphones for more immersion
