The atmosphere is thick with anticipation, and the pressure never lets up as strange events unfold across the apartment you're monitoring. One scene shows a large, dark humanoid shadow cast across the tiled floor of a room containing a bed. Another moment reveals a tall floor lamp with a white shade standing tilted at an angle in the center of a room lined with large white cabinets. A separate room contains a white bathtub, a black toilet, and a washing machine — ordinary spaces made unsettling by what might change in them at any moment.
How to Play I'm on Observation Duty: Monitor, Detect, and Report
The objective is to monitor an apartment through surveillance cameras, detect anomalies, and report them before too many slip past you. Strange events can take many forms — objects moving, doors opening, shadows appearing, or intruding objects showing up where they shouldn't be. Miss more than three anomalies and the game is lost. Hold out until 6 am without exceeding that limit, and the mission is complete.
When something unusual catches your eye, open the Report Anomaly window. Inside it, select the room where the anomaly was detected, then choose the type of anomaly from the provided list. Submitting the report eliminates the anomaly. Anomalies multiply as time passes, so reacting quickly to any deviation from the norm is essential to surviving until dawn.
