About Reversi: Strategic Board Game for Two Players

Reversi is a two-player strategy game played on an 8×8 grid, where the goal is to finish with more discs of your color than your opponent. Each turn, a player places a colored disc on the board, and any of the opponent's discs caught in a straight line between the newly placed disc and another of your own flip to your color. The game ends when no more moves remain, and the player holding the majority of discs wins.

How to Play Reversi: Place, Capture, and Flip

Black always goes first. On each turn, place a disc of your color on an empty square such that at least one of the opponent's discs sits in a straight line — horizontal, vertical, or diagonal — between your new disc and another disc already yours. Every opponent disc in that line then flips to your color. A move is only valid when it captures at least one disc. The player with the most discs on the board when the game concludes is the winner.
