Leave from Backrooms drops you into the backstage — a maze of yellow wallpapered walls, beige carpet, and white ceiling tiles lit by recessed lights. Several scenes show this same unsettling corridor environment repeating around you. Your only goal is to collect the pieces of a key and find the main exit before the entity finds you.
One version of the story holds that escaping the backstage is simply impossible. A tall, spindly black figure with long limbs and a tangled head structure haunts the hallways.
