About Fillwords: Proverbs
Fillwords: Proverbs is a word puzzle game where the goal is to find all the hidden words on a grid so that the letters completely fill the square. Each solved puzzle reveals a proverb along with an explanation of its meaning, making every level both a vocabulary challenge and a small lesson. The game draws on a catalog of more than 900 levels and is playable offline for free. Several scenes show a colorful letter grid laid out across the play field.
How to Play Fillwords: Proverbs — Find Words, Discover Proverbs
The objective across all levels is to find every word hidden on the field and, in doing so, uncover the proverbs those words form. Progress through the full level catalog to discover all the proverbs the game contains.
Finding Words
- Press and hold the first letter of a word, then drag to the last letter to select it.
- Once every word on the field has been found, the level is complete and the next one opens.
- Hints are available whenever a word proves difficult to locate.
Game Modes
- Tournament mode: compete against the clock to achieve the best ranking
