Sudoku Mix is a number puzzle game built around the classic 9x9 grid, where every column, every row, and every 3x3 square must contain the digits 1 through 9 without repetition. Simple puzzles reward close attention to the numbers already placed on the board, while difficult ones demand deeper reasoning. Every puzzle has exactly one correct solution, and the path to it is never handed to you outright.

How to Play Sudoku Mix

The core rule is straightforward: place the numbers 1 to 9 in each row, each column, and each 3x3 square so that no digit appears more than once in any of those groups. For convenience, numbers are highlighted in color to help you track which digits are already accounted for in a given area.

In simpler puzzles, the key move is to study the pre-filled numbers carefully and locate a cell where only a single digit can logically go. Harder puzzles require more deliberate thinking before committing to an entry.

The MISTAKES button checks your current entries and marks any incorrectly placed numbers with color, so you are able to spot errors without having to scan the whole grid manually. The HINT feature reveals the correct number for whichever cell you have selected.

NOTES mode lets you pencil in candidate numbers inside a cell — useful when you are not yet certain which digit belongs there. Notes update automatically as you fill in new numbers elsewhere on the board, so your candidate lists stay current without manual editing.
