Solitaire Klondike - Classic Cards
About Solitaire Klondike - Classic Cards: Classic Card Game for All Ages
Solitaire Klondike - Classic Cards brings one of the most widely recognized card games to your screen with classic design and intuitive controls. The goal is straightforward: collect all 52 cards into four foundation piles, sorted by suit in ascending order from Ace to King, by moving cards between columns in alternating red and black suits. The game helps develop logical thinking and concentration, and suits card game enthusiasts of all ages.
Several scenes show a solid green background textured with fine grain beneath the card layout. Another arrangement rests on a solid dark blue background, also textured with fine grain.
How to Play Solitaire Klondike - Classic Cards
The deck of 52 cards is divided into 7 columns. The first column holds 1 card, the second holds 2, and so on through the seventh. Only the top card in each column starts face-up; the rest are face-down.
Moving Cards
Face-up cards can be moved between columns, but only onto a card of the opposite color and in descending order.
Foundation Piles
Aces go to special foundation piles, where cards of the same suit are then stacked in ascending order — Ace, Two, Three, and so on up to King.
Face-down Cards and Empty Columns
When the top card of a column is moved, the next card in that column can be flipped face-up. If a column becomes completely empty, a King may be placed there.
Stockpile
Remaining cards sit in the stockpile, from which new cards can be drawn. The game is won once all cards are sorted into the four foundation piles by suit.
