Royal Klondike Solitaire
About Royal Klondike Solitaire: Cozy Klondike with Royal Cats and Magic
Royal Klondike Solitaire wraps the familiar Klondike card game in a gentle, celebratory atmosphere built around a cast of royal cats and tomcats. Every round carries the feeling of a small occasion rather than a dry puzzle, and the pace suits both short breaks and long, unhurried sessions. Anthropomorphic cats wearing royal attire appear on the face cards. Card backs carry a black and white interlaced Celtic-style knot pattern. A dark green background with a repeating diamond pattern runs across several scenes in the game.
Beyond the classic experience, the game offers a set of helpful companions — auto-complete, undo, and hints — for players who want to see a tough deal through to the end. Two optional magic tools go further: the Magic Eye reveals hidden cards at a glance, and the court wizard pulls any one face-down card straight off the table. Both feel especially satisfying when a record run or an ideal chain is within reach. Prefer a clean game? Simply skip the magic entirely and take pride in a pure Klondike win.
How to Play Royal Klondike Solitaire
The layout follows classic Klondike: seven piles on the table, with the top card of each pile flipping automatically. An open card can move to a foundation if it fits the sequence there, or onto another tableau pile.
Building the Tableau
Tableau piles are built by placing a card one rank lower and of the opposite color on top of another. A red two goes on a black three; a black jack goes on a red queen. Cards stacked this way move together as a complete group.
Drawing from the Deck
The deck sits in the upper-left. Clicking it draws the next cards. Those cards can be dragged manually or clicked to trigger an automatic move to the tableau or foundations whenever a legal placement exists.
Auto-Move and Hints
Clicking any card prompts the game to search for an automatic move, with foundations treated as the top priority. The hint button suggests a move when you need direction, and undo steps back a previous action.
