Playground 3D: Battle Mod puts you in the role of a commander assembling and developing an army for turn-based battles. The game spans two distinct modes — a story-driven Company Mode and a freeform Sandbox Mode — giving both narrative progression and open experimentation a place at the table. Several scenes show two colored factions, one primarily blue and one primarily red, facing each other across the battlefield. Large grey elephants carrying wooden structures with blue or red shields on their backs appear across multiple battle views.
One scene opens against a dark, barren environment where a large active volcano looms in the background, its slopes streaked with flowing yellow and orange liquid. The clean 3D graphics carry the weight of armies clashing across varied terrain.
How to Play Playground 3D: Battle Mod
Start by choosing a suitable fighter, then click on the playing field to make that soldier appear. Once the army is assembled, press the battle button to begin the fight. Between battles, develop your soldiers and level them up to build an invincible force ready for the most difficult encounters.
Game Modes
- Company Mode: A story mode where you discover new locations, fight enemies, and expand your empire. Warrior count and gold available for recruitment are both limited, and completing 50 levels unlocks Epic Battles.
- Sandbox Mode: Turn-based battles with minimal restrictions. Create unique squad combinations and test strategies and creativity in dynamic scenarios.
- Epic Battles: Large-scale encounters featuring many different unit types. Rewards are earned based on strategy and tactical skill. Unlocked after completing 50 levels in Company Mode.
Squads and Development
- Regular warriors: Standard soldiers available for recruitment.
- Unique characters: Special units drawn from a broader variety of squads.
Soldiers can be developed and leveled up over the course of Company Mode, gradually shaping a stronger army for harder battles.

- Click on the playing field: Place a soldier on the battlefield
- Press the battle button: Start the battle once the army is ready
