About Monsters Lab: Cooking: Brew Monsters from Junk in a Secret Lab

Monsters Lab: Cooking is a browser game set inside a secret laboratory where the whole point is brewing monsters out of unlikely junk. Slime, a holey sock, a banana, a dumpling, a battery, a chili pepper — toss them into the cauldron, hit Brew!, and something climbs out of the boiling goo. The lab aesthetic is fun without being stressful, and instant visual rewards pull you in from the first mix.

Every monster brewed moves into your collection, and that collection is the whole point of the place. New levels unlock new ingredients, and spare junk trades up in the Shop. The rare monsters eat elements that take a while to stockpile, so the challenge grows as the recipes do.

How to Play Monsters Lab: Cooking: Experiment, Collect, and Level Up

The goal is to act as a lab technician experimenting with slime and external ingredients to create monsters, gradually leveling up both the monsters and the complexity of the recipes. Add a banana to create the monster Bananych, or use a dumpling to make a funny Pelmeshik. Order of ingredients doesn't matter — the set does. Swap one ingredient and a different monster hatches. Nobody hands you the recipes; working them out is the game. A useful approach is to take a monster already known and add one new element, which tends to land on a relative.

A mix that matches nothing still hatches somebody — plain but real — and it still pays out loot and XP. As progress continues, new ingredients and recipes unlock, and the results of experiments run around the lab causing chaos.

Monster Categories

You'll find 33 monsters to create in total, divided into six categories:

• Rare (6)
• Super Rare (7)
• Epic (7)
• Mystical (4)
• Legendary (3)

The higher the monster's rarity level, the more complex the recipe.

Tips & Tricks

• Experiment: don't be afraid to mix even the most unlikely ingredients, as this is the only way to unlock new pages with the rarest creatures in Monster Pen.
• Slimes: the setup creates slimes from the slime, which can be collected as ingredients, but watch out for the little rascals trying to pull the hose out of the flask.

• Left Mouse Button: pick elements from the palette, press Brew!, open the journal, shop and progress board, and collect rewards after a monster is born
• Mouse Wheel: scroll the element palette and long lists (Monster Den, Shop, cook log)
• Click and Drag: drag those same lists up and down
• × Button (top corner): close a panel and pull the camera back to the lab

• Tap: choose elements, brew, open panels, collect drops
• Swipe (up/down): scroll the palette and lists
• × Button (top corner): back to the lab
