Gunner: Free Space Defender is a first-person war 3D space shooter built around one clear directive: shoot everything that threatens your side. Controlling a space turret, the objective is to protect friendly objects while destroying all attacking enemies. The game's own motto sums it up — "Shoot 'em all."

How to Play Gunner: Free Space Defender — Protect Friendlies and Destroy All Enemies

The core challenge is hitting moving targets. Rather than aiming directly at an enemy, shoot at a point ahead of it along its path of movement. The game calculates this lead point for each weapon type and marks it with special markers — aim for those markers to connect.

Primary weapons carry unlimited bullets, but every shot deducts a score point, so sustained fire has a cost. Secondary weapons are limited in ammo and should be used with restraint. During intensive primary-weapon fire, the weapon can overheat and misfire; a temperature gauge located under the ammo counter indicates when overheating is occurring.

Game Modes

• CAMPAIGN: Choose your weapon and complete missions without a time limit.
• SURVIVE: Use a set weapon type and complete the mission within a limited time.

Both modes include 32 missions each, with 4 types of difficulty available.
