Genius Mechanic
About Genius Mechanic: A Sandbox for Building Vehicles and Mechanisms
Genius Mechanic is a sandbox where the entire point is construction — building vehicles, mechanisms, and anything else you are able to assemble from blocks. The game hands you several types of wheels and tracks, floating blocks, and the parts needed for airborne craft, then steps back and lets you work. A flat green surface with a textured grass-like pattern covers the foreground and midground across several scenes. In one scene, a vehicle carries a large yellow front-facing scoop with vertical metal-colored prongs; in another, a grey block-based vehicle is fitted with a long, thin cylindrical turret pointing to the right.
How to Play Genius Mechanic
Everything begins by clicking open on the initial structure. From there, clicking the yellow square on the starting block creates a new block, and the build grows from that point outward. The game supports land vehicles of all kinds — trucks, bulldozers, and anything else the wheel and track selection makes possible. Floating blocks open up boat and full ship construction, while a separate set of parts covers airplanes, helicopters, and other flying equipment. Once a flying craft is assembled, the game lets you test its performance directly.
Controls
- Left click (yellow square): Create a block on the starting block
- Right mouse button: Rotate the camera
- CTRL + mouse movement: Move the camera in the plane
- Mouse wheel: Zoom in and out
