Fishing Anomaly
About Fishing Anomaly: Post-Apocalyptic Fishing Simulator
Fishing Anomaly drops you into a world reshaped by catastrophe — radiation, mutants, strange anomalies, mysterious artifacts, and monstrous fish have taken over. The main character spent 30 years in a bunker, and the first thing he does when he steps outside is cast a line. That setup captures the game's tone perfectly: darkly absurd, genuinely curious, and built around the loop of fishing in a world that has gone very wrong.
The activity list goes well beyond simply catching fish. Discovering anomalous artifacts, gathering crafting resources, exploring dangerous locations, taking part in events and competitions, and completing quests all weave together into a post-apocalyptic survival simulation. One scene shows a stone structure with a collapsed roof and exposed interior supports sitting at the edge of a body of water, and another moment places two figures in jackets seated on wooden stools at a barrel-base table — details that suggest the world feels lived-in and worn. A bulletin board covered in numerous small rectangular papers is mounted on a corrugated wall in one scene, hinting at the layers of tasks and information the game tracks.
How to Play Fishing Anomaly: Cast, Catch, and Progress
The core loop is straightforward: cast your rod, hook and reel in fish, sell your catch, and trade the proceeds for better gear. Completing quests moves your progress forward. Controls are simple — clicking buttons handles casting and reeling — but a full set of hotkeys gives experienced players faster access to every system.
