Earth and Mars. World at War puts you in command of a country with one clear ambition: lead it to dominance by conquering rivals, growing your economy, and weaving a web of alliances and rivalries across different eras. The game blends economic development, military strategy, diplomacy, and territorial trade into a single turn-based experience where every decision carries weight. One scene shows the map as a patchwork of interlocking irregularly shaped colored zones — orange, dark blue, pink, and brown — set against a blue field dotted with small islands.
How to Play Earth and Mars. World at War: Strategy, Tactics, and Diplomacy
Each turn revolves around a strict set of limits that shape every offensive and economic choice. Attacks on enemy regions are unrestricted in number, but the total forces committed to offensives cannot exceed 20% of your army in a single turn. Your army's maximum size is calculated as your economy size multiplied by 20, while gold has no cap.
Managing Your Regions
- Select one of your own regions to station your army there, withdraw it, or improve the economy.
- Select a region belonging to another player to attempt a purchase through negotiation with that country.
- Select a region held by a country you are at war with to send your army in and capture it.
Diplomacy Options
- Declare war
- Propose peace
- Form an alliance
- Sign a non-aggression pact
- Call allies into the war
Controls
- Bottom-left buttons (region selected): Station army, withdraw army, improve economy, buy region, capture region, or access diplomacy actions
- Top buttons: Change the map scale
- Top-right "next turn" button: Advance to the next turn
