Best Dominoes
About Best Dominoes
Best Dominoes brings one of the world's most enduring board games to your screen, drawing on centuries of play to deliver a familiar yet freshened experience. The game uses a set of 28 dice marked with dot values from zero to six, and it welcomes two or more players at a time. One scene shows an oval-shaped green felt surface bordered by a wooden frame, resting on a dark wood-grain floor. The version here introduces unique opponents to the classic formula, and it suits all ages while developing logical thinking, attention, and strategic skills.
How to Play Best Dominoes
The objective is to build a chain of knuckles by connecting pieces that share the same values. The first player to place their last bone wins.
Starting the Game
Dice are dealt to all players at the start. The player holding the 1:1 bone goes first. If no one has it, the opening move passes to whoever holds the 2:2 bone; if that is also absent, the 3:3 takes precedence, and so on up the sequence.
Taking Turns and the Bazaar
On each turn, a player must place a domino whose value matches one of the open ends of the chain. Any dice not dealt to players go face-down into a closed reserve called the bazaar. When a player has no suitable piece in hand, they draw from the bazaar one domino at a time until a matching piece is found or the reserve runs out.
Ending the Game
The game ends the moment a player lays down their final bone.
