About Anomaly Search: Monitor Contaminated Zones Through a Camera System

Anomaly Search casts you as the "Eyes" — an operator seated in a deep bunker, watching contaminated zones through a network of cameras. Reality is unstable, and its seams are marked by Fluctuations. Your role is the only wall between the familiar world and chaos, and your method is the "Gaze Effect": anomalies fear observation, and by classifying them you literally nail reality back to the floor.

The threats range from the innocuous disappearance of a mug to the appearance of ENTITIES that know you're watching them. One scene shows a wooden table with a single mug sitting in a room with a stone fireplace and a hanging lantern — exactly the kind of quiet detail you'll need to memorize before chaos sets in. Another moment reveals a circular stone staircase descending into darkness past a stained-glass window. Elsewhere, a pale, thin arm with elongated fingers rests on a grey rumpled bedspread.

Career progression runs on Research Points (RP), which open upgrades, sedatives, and access to particularly dangerous sectors: the ancient "Castle" with its time loops and the rotting "Izba."

How to Play Anomaly Search

Quiet Hour Phase

The first 30 seconds are complete safety. Switch between cameras and memorize the location of every mug, painting, and shadow. This baseline is your standard of reality — everything you notice here becomes the reference point for what follows.

Active Phase

Chaos ensues. Continuously cycle through all the rooms. Only one anomaly exists per zone at a time.

Recording Algorithm

When you notice a difference, open the type menu using the arrow on the left. Select a category, then double-tap directly on the type of anomaly.

4 Types of Threats

• Item: changes to or disappearances of objects in the environment
• Room: alterations to the room itself
• Entity: appearances that know you're watching
• Reality: deeper distortions of the zone

Resources and Sanity

Success earns RP (Research Points). Missing an anomaly causes the zone to collapse. Selecting the wrong type costs your sanity. If the sanity bar drops to 0, the operator is written off. Between shifts, spend RP at the Shop on upgrades, sedatives, and access to new sectors.
